The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet (colloquialised in norwegian as simply 'The Opera') is a cultural institution that captivates audiences with world-class performances. Øyedrops was tasked with creating a flexible visual and motion design concept for their 2024–25 season launch, spanning digital displays, online channels, and print. The concept highlights key performances while ensuring a cohesive identity that can be adapted for future seasons.
The visual concept bridges classical elegance with contemporary motion, creating a dynamic framework that highlights the season’s key performances while ensuring lasting impact.
Designed to evolve with Opera’s upcoming seasons, the concept balances bold animations and refined graphics, offering a seamless experience across digital, print, and live displays.
From sweeping movements to subtle details, the motion design captures the drama and energy of Opera’s performances, bringing audiences closer to the heart of the art.

We also conducted extensive player surveys and focus groups to understand their preferences and pain points regarding in-game graphics. Armed with insights, we crafted a design concept centered around authenticity, dynamism, and user-friendliness
